Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: a fluffy girl called Cosmo.

Meet Cosmo! She is a young cat who spent most of her kitten life on the streets. She’s happy as a clam indoors, but loud noises and unexpected movements will send her into hiding. She is hoping to find someone that has her back. That can give her the best hiding spots and let her know when the coast is clear.

Cosmo would adore a cat buddy. Do you have a friendly cat or two who can be her partners in crime? Wrestling and running and chasing are some of her favorite activities. Plus, they can help show her the ropes on this new posh indoor life.

She is more than just a wrestling champ. Cosmo is also a quiet observer, and such a well-rounded kitty! She’d love a great window perch and/or a little cubby where she can watch the world go by and think about cat stuff. Cosmo is a beautiful fluffy girl who will be happiest in a quiet home with patient people who will let her have those shy moments.
