Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we—with generous sponsorship from Skilos, A Family Pet Store—plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: An outgoing little fella named Celestino.
Meet Celestino. Celestino is part of the Squishmallow crew—named for the soft and cuddly stuffies. Celestino and his siblings were born shortly after their mama was rescued from the streets of Milwaukee! As you can see, Celestino is white with one black spot on his head, giving him the best hairdo. And his dark black tail complements the look.
Celestino was first born, so of course he has taken on a leadership role. He is the first to come running when the foster room door opens and is always the first to explore anything new.
He does well with the foster home’s young school age children and the home’s resident cats. He likes to play with toys and chases after toys dangling from a wand. He even likes chasing after Hot Wheels on their speedy tracks.
Celestino would be a good addition to any home. He would do well with his sibling (Sweedle) or even his mom, Soraya, if you are looking for a duo.
