Next weekend, the fifth iteration of Filth Fest brings about a convergence of punk mentalities, grass roots music and art, and a self-described “political subversion” that—to quote organizers—”create an inclusive, intentionally Queer and Trans centered space while raising money for Queer and Trans organizations.”

On top of useful workshops, artists, and poets, Filth Fest offers two days of music that’s supplied by predominately punk, metal, and hardcore acts from Milwaukee and across the country. On June 16-17, 20 bands will play a total of two shows in Riverwest. Both shows are all-ages, and priced at a sliding scale from $15 to $7. All proceeds will benefit TAP (Trans Assistance Project). Here’s who’s playing.
