Man, this year’s Mitten Fest was super fun, right? Isn’t it too bad that we now have to wait a few more months until the conditions are right for another Bay View block party? Or do we? What if we told you that there will be another winter street party taking place in Bay View this coming weekend? Okay, we’ll stop asking rhetorical questions now and we’ll just assume you would really like that. Well, you’re in luck!

On Saturday, February 15, the fine folks at 1840 Brewing Company will shut down a portion of E. Ward Street to celebrate “The Great Stoutdoors.” From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., customers can gather outside the brewery to enjoy new 1840 beer releases and guest stouts from other breweries, s’mores, fire pits, food from Tots On The Street and Project Bubaloo, and “more fun surprises.”

There will be eight beers on tap outside and 10 draft options available inside the brewery. (Access to the taproom will be VIP only from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) As the event’s name suggests, there will be a focus on stouts, but rest assured there will be a wide range of beer varietals available. Winter might not be over yet, but Milwaukee is doing its part to keep the fun coming as we collectively await warmer days ahead. If you’re looking for some more outdoor fun, we suggest you bundle up and head to 1840 Brewing this weekend.
