Get out your shark repellent, Bat-fans: In honor of the recently departed Adam West, who portrayed Batman on the delightfully campy ’60s series, Avalon Theater will screen the movie version of the delightfully campy ’60s series, Batman: The Movie, on Thursday, June 22 at 9 p.m. All tickets are only $5.

Batman: The Movie features West as the titular Caped Crusader, Burt Ward as the trusty Robin, and a killer rogues gallery that includes Cesar Romero as The Joker, Burgess Meredith as The Penguin, and Frank Gorshin as The Riddler. (Sadly, neither Julie Newmar nor Eartha Kitt show up as Catwoman; the role is played here by Lee Meriwether.)

That same Bat-time, again, is Thursday, June 22 at 9 p.m. That same Bat-theater is the Avalon. Holy sardines!
