Milwaukee Record is working in partnership with Urban Cat Coalition—a local organization that’s dedicated to creating a no kill community by humanely reducing the cat population in the Milwaukee area through targeted trap-neuter-return (TNR)—to help find loving homes for area cats. Each week, we plan to highlight a feline friend that’s currently up for adoption by naming it “Milwaukee Record’s Cat Of The Week.” This week: the sweet and cuddly Simone.

[dropcapI[/dropcap]ntroducing the stunning Simone, a former outdoor explorer turned cuddle connoisseur! She was regularly visiting a rescuer’s yard for meals. And as time passed, she started to become inquisitive about the person feeding her. One day, she let the rescuer pick her up and the rest is history.

Simone wants to be where the people are, so once she feels safe and comfortable, her affectionate personality shines. Simone loves to be held. Cuddling is her favorite. She wants to be next to you all the time. Simone has adjusted quickly to indoor living, but will need a little patience as she adjusts to her new adoptive home.

She would do best as a solo pet. The perfect home would be on the quiet side with older children or with adults only, where she gets plenty of attention. A retired couple, a person who works from home or someone who is home a lot would be her perfect adopter(s). Simone is as sweet as she is beautiful, and would love to find her snuggle buddy. Is it you?
