While it’s oftentimes overshadowed by many of Milwaukee’s other causeways, thoroughfares, and main drags, Historic Mitchell Street is one of the city’s most vibrant, amenity-laden, and historic—it’s even in the name!—streets in our midst. On Saturday, September 7, Historic Mitchell Street will be alive with live music, food and drinks aplenty, local retailers, and more.
The Historic Mitchell Marketplace will run from 12-6 p.m., during which three Mitchell-adjacent alleyways between 9th and 11th will be shut down to host the late-summer celebration. Check out the live music schedule here:
12:00 – 1:30 p.m. — Cana Brava
2:00 – 3:30 p.m. — Voces de America
4:00 – 5:30 p.m. — Caley Conway
In addition to the beer, wine, and other beverages available for purchase, attendees can also enjoy a wide variety of food truck options and browse goods from area retailers. Here’s the full food and retail vendor list:
• La Casa del Pan & Del Valle Oaxaqueno
• Los Gomelos Tacos

• Chuggy’s Corn
