Like pretty much every other large scale event, festival, and block party in Milwaukee, Bay View Bash isn’t happening this year. COVID-19 concerns caused the long-running late summer staple to cancel this year’s installment (which was scheduled to take place Saturday, September 19). Even though Bay View won’t be bashing this year, organizers have thought of a safe, socially distanced, and interactive way for the neighborhood to have some fun this September.

On Saturday, September 12, Bay View Bash and the fine folks from Rush-Mor Records will treat residents to a mini “porch parade” from 7:30 p.m. until about 10 p.m. During that span, a convoy of four trailers will navigate some of Bay View’s high-traffic streets. The parade will also feature live music from Nasty Boys, The Quilz, and other artists TBA.

The parade will start near the intersection of Lincoln and Howell at 7:30 p.m. Check out the route below and get ready to celebrate Bay View Bash a bit differently this year. If weather is determined to be an issue, the parade will be rescheduled for the same time on Saturday, September 19. Organizers will decide the status this Friday.
