Thanks to the immense generosity of a reader, a framed RIAA Certified Sales Award for the debut album by ’90s hip-hop group P.M. Dawn recently found its way to our office and into this auction. The piece commemorates the sale of more than half a million copies of P.M. Dawn’s Of The Heart, Of The Soul And Of The Cross: The Utopian Experience. A copy of the compact disc—which features former Billboard No. 1 hit “Set Adrift On Memory Bliss”—and the CD’s cover are also both displayed in the framed treasure that’s a must-have for any classic hip-hop and R&B appreciator. There’s a small chip on the top edge of the frame. Beyond that, this keepsake has help up almost as well as P.M. Dawn’s catalog has.
Winning bidder must pick up at Milwaukee Record headquarters in Walker’s Point or pay an additional $50 charge for shipping and insurance.
