A week ago, the postseason fate of the Green Bay Packers was still very much up in the air. Even after Washington’s loss Sunday afternoon earned the Pack a place in the playoffs, the red hot Green Bay team needed to beat the Lions in order to claim the NFC North title. By the end of Sunday night, Packer Backers were celebrating yet another division crown. Hours later, Wisco Kidz had commemorated the unlikely accomplishment with a song about Aaron Rodgers’ “run the table” prediction coming true.

Almost as bold as the future Hall Of Fame quarterback’s words that resulted in the 4-6 Pack winning six straight and winning the North is the song the California (by way of Wisconsin) hip-hop duo assuredly pre-wrote to celebrate the occasion. “Run The Table” praises Rodgers’ leadership, and features ultra-specific lines about Randall Cobb ending the regular season on the bench and “Clinton-Dix with two picks in the Bears game.” It also includes audio of detestable sports pundit Colin Cowherd saying Green Bay’s season was over right before the streak started.

Should the Packers keep winning and “run the table” all the way to a Super Bowl win, this song could earn a place alongside Lil Wayne’s “Green & Yellow” on Lambeau Field tailgate playlists until the end of time. If the streak ends prematurely, it’s still a pretty good song about that one time Green Bay won six consecutive games and made the playoffs. Listen to (and download) “Run The Table” today, and let’s hope the song is still relevant next week.
