In case you haven’t paid much attention to the Milwaukee Bucks lately, it’s worth noting this Giannis Antetokounmpo guy is pretty good at basketball. Through 32 games, the 6’11” forward-center hybrid is leading the 16-16 Bucks in points, field goals, rebounds, assists, free throws, blocks, and steals. His two blocks and two steals per contest along with his pair of triple doubles also rank in the top five in the entire NBA. In short, Antetokounmpo deserves to be the first Bucks player to be outright selected to take part in the NBA All-Star Game since Michael Redd participated in the exhibition midway through the 2003-04 season.

Through January 16, fans can vote once per day at NBA.com or by tweeting Giannis Antetokounmpo #NBAVOTE. Sure, we could hurl more stats at you, acknowledge that the Greek Freak is garnering heaps of praise from national media outlets and love from fans throughout the league, and suggest this once-in-a-generation talent is the primary reason the Bucks are one of the most exciting teams in the NBA. But instead of telling you why he should be selected to the NBA All-Star Game, we’ll just let Giannis show you why he deserves your vote.
