Durham, North Carolina indie pop duo Sylvan Esso—which formed after Mountain Man singer Amelia Meath and Decibully/Made Of Oak member Nick Sanborn met in Milwaukee—released its downright delightful sophomore record, What Now, last month. The new album precedes performances on renowned festivals, touring of both the domestic and international variety, and even some television appearances.

Less than six months removed from performing on The Tonight Show, Sylvan Esso graced the airwaves once again. This time, the dynamic duo appeared on Sunday night’s episode of Comedy Central’s The Gorburger Show. Joining them on the hilarious T.J. Miller web series-turned-basic cable late night show was none other than Big Freedia, who helped Sylvan Esso out on a song called “Pony.” Even though it’s not a cover of the Ginuwine hit by the same name, “Pony” is still worth a watch.
