You’d be hard-pressed to find a Milwaukee project that’s piled more work into 2017’s first 10 months than Guerrilla Ghost. Since late April, the experimental hip-hop duo composed of rapper Chuck Jones (who releases music as “Bad Graphics Ghost” and sings for post-hardcore act, Importer/Exporter) and Volunteer bassist Martin Defatte (who dabbles with industrial sounds in Tron Jovi) has released a flurry of contentious and politically-pointed singles between its steady diet of live shows and music videos.

About two weeks after the release of its First 200 Days  cassette and week before playing Burnhearts’ annual Punk House Kegger, Guerrilla Ghost is preparing to bring its productive first year to a close in grand fashion with its fourth and finest music video of 2017.

The “Let’s Get Physical” music video allows Jones and Defatte to take a breather from filming, instead opting to put puppet likenesses of the pair in front of the camera. The ambitious approach was put into motion over the summer and carried home with some editing assistance from Defatte. While you wait to see and hear what’s to come from the guys at Guerrilla Ghost next year (and there’s sure to be a lot in store), you can watch the marionette-influenced “Let’s Get Physical” music video now with almost no strings attached.
