When we last checked in with Vincent Van Great…well, it was only about two weeks ago, when the ever-busy, ever-evolving rapper/producer was releasing the terrific “I’m The Man Pt. 2” and prepping for gigs at Summer Soulstice and Summerfest. Now, Van Great is teasing a new project with fellow Uni-Fi Records artist Dana Coppa by releasing a video for “Enter Flex,” the first cut from the duo’s upcoming album A Tape Called Fresh.

“For over two years, week in and week out, Vincent Van Great and Dana Coppa have been hitting the studio…and now their roll-out begins,” says a press release. And what better way to celebrate than by hitting the Mad Planet dance floor (and stage)? The black and white clip, filmed and edited by PWR+Media, shows the veteran artists cutting a rug at the iconic (and under-new-ownership) Riverwest club, tossing out lines about Michael Jackson, Lionel Richie, and fresh kicks. The track itself was produced by Van Great.

A Tape Called Fresh will be released later this summer. Meanwhile, the Friday Night Retro Dance Party at Planet will (thankfully) continue until the end of time.
