Hey, remember when we told you that Kip Winger, the eponymous frontman of second-tier hair metal band from the late-’80s and early-’90s, Winger, was playing in Cudahy March 7? Pretty fucking weird, right? Well, it turns out The Metal Grill and its seedy (yet oft-misunderstood) suburban surroundings struck a chord with the voice behind “Seventeen” and, probably, other songs. On Thursday, October 15, the heavy metal crooner with two platinum records to his credit will return to the bacon-scented confines of Cudahy to usher in another generation of pride for patrons of the (actually pretty great) venue with his second solo set there in 2015.

Probably figuring those two openers from March just weighed him down, Mr. Winger is the only act listed this time around. Thus, ticket prices dropped slightly to $12 advance, $15 at the door, and $20 for reserved seating. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. Don’t miss this show, lest you be forced to wait until, like, next April to get your dose of Kip Winger. Again, this is a 21+ show, so no 17-year-olds will be permitted.
