Beautiful weather. Beautiful people. A beautiful neighborhood that may have more axe-throwing cat-and-poke bars than sit-down-and-just-have-a-drink bars these days, but a beautiful neighborhood nonetheless. They all came together this past Saturday for the 2018 annual Summer Soulstice Music Festival. The 18th installment of the popular fest featured all the great music (Tigernite! Vincent VanGREAT! Space Raft!) and East Side charm (Curbside drinking at Von Trier! Outdoor golfing from Nine Below! The Landmark!) that Milwaukeeans have come to expect.
