Oh Christ, let’s just get this over with: Remember late last year when a weary and tired nation learned that former Home Alone moppet Macaulay Culkin was playing in a pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band called The Pizza Underground? Remember how you hated the idea that Macaulay Culkin was playing in a pizza-themed Velvet Underground cover band called The Pizza Underground? Remember how a bunch of people in England shared your feelings and booed the band off stage? Troubling times. Thankfully, it’s all in the past, nothing more than a cheese-encrusted and vaguely Moe Tucker-shaped memory.

Except not. The Pizza Underground is scheduled to play The Hotel Foster Sunday, November 2. Fellow joke-meister Har Mar Superstar will headline the Halloween show, because of course it’s a Halloween show. Advance tickets are $10, and available now. Sigh.
