What’s better than the “World’s Largest Music Festival”? How about a mini festival within the “World’s Largest Music Festival”? On Tuesday, July 4, that’s just what will happen when the newly christened Lakeside 4Cast fest takes over the Briggs & Stratton Big Backyard during Summerfest 2017. Featuring a mix of Milwaukee and Chicago hip-hop artists, the fest is the brainchild of Milwaukee-born producer oddCouple. Jamila Woods (CHI) will kick things off at 4 p.m., followed by WebsterX (MKE), oddCouple himself (CHI), Saba (CHI), Joey Purp (CHI), and IshDARR (MKE).

“You get to see a group of really talented friends, all ready to blow up to that next level, on one stage, on the 4th of July, and on a beautiful lakefront,” says oddCouple in a press release. “It’s gonna be something you’ll remember years from now when all these stars are running the music world!”
