Jeff Tweedy has fronted Wilco since 1994, and in all that time he’s apparently never had the urge to release a solo album, a la every frontman ever. That’s about to change, however, as Tweedy is currently preparing his first solo outing, and hitting the road early in support of it. One of his stops will be the Pabst Theater on Monday, June 16, where he’ll be backed by a band that includes his 18-year-old son, Spencer. Tweedy and company will play both new songs and classic tracks from Wilco and Uncle Tupelo. The Handsome Family will open, and will dare you to not imagine the worried faces of Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson when they play the song from True Detective.

Reserved seating tickets are $45, and go on sale Friday, May 23 at noon.
