Each summer of Burnhearts’ existence, the Bay View beer bastion has simultaneously celebrated summer and one of the most iconic (formerly) Milwaukee-made beers with the annual Burnhearts/Pabst Street Party. The seventh such block party was the biggest and best one yet, as Sylvan Esso, GGOOLLDD, Collections Of Colonies Of Bees, and more took the stage at the corner of Logan and Potter avenues last June. Though that one will be tough to top, the bar has rounded up an eclectic cast of local talent to supply the musical accompaniment—while brazenly taking on Summerfest—on Saturday, June 27 for the eighth annual Burnhearts/Pabst Street Party.

“We like to book local acts, namely because there are so many great ones in this city. It’s also nice to showcase our city’s own talent among the big name headliners rolling through town around the same time every year,” Burnhearts owner BJ Seidel says. “We like to keep the lineup diverse stylistically because it makes for a well-rounded soundtrack to the day. It’s like the ultimate Milwaukee summer playlist.”

Milwaukee Record—a proud media sponsor of the event—is pleased to unveil the versatile and very, very good lineup for this year’s Burnhearts/Pabst Street Party.

De La Buena
Klassik with live accompaniment by Three. Stacks. Eliot
Platinum Boys
Light Music
Soul Low
(DJ WHY B will spin between sets)

Also: Tinkerbelles, a band from Chicago, will play a set at some point during the day as part of their attempted world record run of 40 shows in 10 days.

In addition to the sudsy sustenance of PBR, food from Goodkind, Honeypie, and Classic Slice will be available. A portion of the party’s proceeds will be donated to the Bay View Neighborhood Association. It’s going to be awesome, and you’re invited. Save the date.
