Spring is in the air, and with it, summer festival announcements. Summerfest has already announced a handful of Marcus Amphitheater headliners (including Sting, Peter Gabriel, and Def Fucking Leppard), and a date has been set for the 9th annual Burnhearts/Pabst Street Party (June 25). Now, a new name is ready to enter the ever-expanding summer festival ring: Tasty Fest, the inaugural festival from Milwaukee-based DIY music label Tasty Tapes, has just announced both its existence and its lineup. And oh boy, that lineup is a doozy. Here it is, in alphabetical order:

Antler House
The Bang Bang
Body Futures
Brat Sounds
Faux Fiction
The Grovelers
Indonesian Junk
Klassik
Lunar Bedrooms
Mortgage Freeman
No No Yeah Okay
NO/NO
The Old Prospectors
The Pukes
The Rashita Joneses
Sat. Nite Duets
SIN BAD
Slow Walker
Surgeons In Heat
Tapebenders
Tigernite
The Young Revelators

The delectable four-day blowout will take place Thursday, June 2 at Riverwest Public House; Friday, June 3 at Linneman’s; Saturday, June 4 at Mad Planet; and Sunday, June 5 at Mad Planet. Milwaukee Record is a co-sponsor of Tasty Fest, so stay tuned for individual venue lineups.

Tasty Tapes was created in 2015 by Phil Hoge and Jeff Grabo, who were looking for a home for their bands Filter Free Rodeo and The Rashita Joneses. With Tasty Fest, the duo is clearly looking to spread the good word about their label—and giving Milwaukee a chance to see some of its best local artists over the course of one weekend is a hell of a way to do it. $15 weekend passes are currently on sale now.
