To this point, Milwaukee rapper Queen Tut‘s work has been mostly relegated to featured roles on tracks by artists like Lex Allen and AR Wesley, or buried below a heft of other local hip-hop talents on show lineups. That will all change Sunday, though, when Queen Tut reigns supreme at Company Brewing for the release of her debut effort, Psychedelic Traphouse.

The EP finds Tut toting her confident, capable, and supremely smooth rhymes to the forefront of five new songs, best expressed by standout track, “DOMINION.” Now in the driver’s seat, she sought beats from Q The Sun (New Age Narcissism, Lorde Freddee), Brandeaux C., and Chicago producer Elijah Asani (who made the beat for “DOMINION”). Queen Tut and Abby Jeanne REBEL LOVE produced and recorded the EP, respectively. Before Psychedelic Traphouse is unveiled on stage Sunday night and becomes available in physical and digital formats, listen to “DOMINION” right now, only on Milwaukee Record.

Queen Tut will release Psychedelic Traphouse Sunday, September 27 at Company Brewing. The show begins at 8 p.m. and costs $5. She’ll be joined by special guests New Boyz Club, Abby Jeanne REBEL LOVE, Zed Kenzo, Blizz Mcfly, Vincent VanGREAT, D’Amato, DJ Annalog, and a burlesque performance by Zara Estelle.
