Back in July, in our recounting of the strange story of Tim “The Rock And Roll Animal”’s quest to bring The Who to Milwaukee in 1982, we speculated that the legendary group would likely skip Milwaukee on its current “goodbye” tour. We were wrong. Today, it was announced The Who will bring its “The Who Hits 50!” show to the BMO Harris Bradley Center Tuesday, October 15 2015. Yeah, that’s not a typo: over one year from now. Get ready!
The tour is being billed as an “Amazing Journey” through the band’s entire catalog, so we know Tommy will get plenty of play. A limited number of pre-sale tickets will be available Thursday, October 16 (2014) from 10 a.m. – 10 p.m. by using the code WHO50 on Ticketmaster.com. After that, tickets go on sale Friday, October 17 at 10 a.m.
