With summer’s true beginning just over a month away, most of the uncertainties about the city’s staggering number of festivals, weekly music series, and block parties have cleared up. In the last two weeks alone, lineups for Summer Soulstice, Chill On The Hill, Locust Street Festival, and Lakefront Festival Of Art were made public. Though Milwaukee is getting a pretty good idea of how it will be spending its nights and weekends between June and September, a handful of fests remain a mystery.

One of the few summer staples that has been tight-lipped about its lineup is also one of the city’s best. During each summer of Burnhearts‘ existence, the usually craft-brew-focused Bay View bar has played host to a fun and fancy-free celebration of music, food, crafts, and a beloved cheap beer out on its one-block parcel of Potter Avenue with its Burnhearts/Pabst Street Party. The previous eight iterations have included performances from respected local (or at least tangentially local) acts like Sylvan Esso, The Promise Ring, Braid, GGOOLLDD, Collections Of Colonies Of Bees, De La Buena, Soul Low, Klassik, Hugh Bob & The Hustle, Platinum Boys, and many, many more.

Today, Milwaukee Record—an official media sponsor of the event—is proud to announce the lineup for the 9th annual Burnhearts/Pabst Street Party, taking place outside the bar on Saturday, July 2. Here’s who will play.

6 p.m. – Direct Hit!
4:45 p.m. – WebsterX
3:30 p.m. – Space Raft
2:15 p.m. – Tigernite
1 p.m. – New Boyz Club

The Bay View block party will also include introductions from WMSE and between-set DJing by Why B, food from Goodkind, Classic Slice, and Honeypie. Cortney Heimerl has rounded up 16 Milwaukee makers, who will sell crafts on-site. Beyond the full bar selection Burnhearts will offer patrons inside, patrons can purchase Korbel Brandy Slush, Old Tankard Ale, and of course, Pabst Blue Ribbon outside. We’ll see you there, Milwaukee!
