Mid-market regional web-only entertainment journalism can be a largely thankless industry. The pay isn’t great, the hours are long, and the comments can be vicious. But every now and then, something happens that makes it all worth it. This is one of those things. In honor of our second birthday (April 7, by the way), The Vanguard gave us an incredible gift: our own sausage.

This weekend, swing by Bay View’s premier specialty sausage shop to enjoy the “Milwaukee Wrecker.” The limited-time creation of chef Shay Linkus is a Korean BBQ sausage with spicy kimchi and sesame soy. God damn. We can’t imagine a better thing to eat while watching Wrestlemania on Sunday. Be somebody and put our sausage in your mouth.
