The love affair between Milwaukee and food/travel shows continues. Following in the august tradition of the Travel Channel visiting Sobelman’s Pub & Grill and Comet, Spike TV dooming the old Y-Not III and Campbell’s Irish Pub, and 8,000 other visits we’re probably forgetting about, the Travel Channel’s ever-popular Food Paradise will descend on the East Side’s venerable Von Trier tonight, and Bay View’s Crafty Cow on Wednesday.

Food Paradise focuses on specialties from restaurants located all around the country that fit one specific episode theme. The program will be filming at the German-themed bar and restaurant tonight from 5-8 p.m., and at the new-ish Bay View hot spot on Wednesday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Stop by!

Milwaukee is no stranger to Food Paradise, either. The Old German Beer Hall, The Vanguard, Merriment Social, Good City Brewing, Ward’s House of Prime Rib, and Five O’Clock Steakhouse have all popped up on the show in recent years. Von Trier, meanwhile, is the same Von Trier you’ve always known and loved (RIP “midcentury cocktail lounge” rebranding), except even better. Crafty Cow, meanwhile, beefed up its menu this past summer.
