In a year that found close to 10 breweries either opening in or relocating operations to Milwaukee, Third Space Brewing could very well be the best of the bunch. With its small-but-sturdy batch of West Coast-inspired brews, the three-month-old brewery has quickly established itself in Menomonee Valley, made cameos on draft lines at area bars, and helped bolster the reputation of Brew City. Beginning this weekend, the public will be invited to see how one of the city’s best new breweries does things.

Starting December 10, Third Space will offer tours. Each Saturday between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., blocks as large as 25 people will learn about Third Space’s brewing process and see the inner workings of the spacious facility that was once a metal-ware factory. Saturday sign-ups will begin when the brewery opens at noon. The $10 tour includes a free Third Space pint glass and two beers. Tell your parents and out-of-town friends there’s a new tour in Milwaukee.
