Milwaukee is currently neck-deep in Downtown Employee Appreciation Week, a five-day blowout filled with events, games, and lunchtime specials for the more than 83,000 folks who work downtown. On Tuesday morning, from 9:30-10:30 a.m., those folks enjoyed what was billed as the “World’s Largest Coffee Break” in Catalano Square. Coffee from local and national vendors! Doughnuts from Holey Moley! Music from Skylight Music Theatre! Was it indeed the largest coffee break in the entire world? Who knows, but it was really nice out and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Photographer Wendy Schreier was on the scene and captured these caffeinated images.
