Just days ago, we posted a podcast about some of the great things happening in the Layton Boulevard West neighborhoods of Silver City, Burnham Park, and Layton Park. Over the weekend, we learned the region will have another awesome amenity when Oscar’s Pub & Grill announced that its long-awaited second restaurant will finally open on Burnham Street on Monday, March 19.

Plans for the second restaurant, which will be called Oscar’s Winner’s Circle, were announced last April. Ownership expected the establishment—located in the former site of Winner’s Circle Bar & Grill at 3800 W. Burnham St.—would open last August, but extensive renovations caused significant delays. On Saturday afternoon, Oscar’s Winner’s Circle announced its official opening date on its Facebook page.

The new bar and grill will open almost exactly seven years after Elisabeth Stoeger and husband Oscar Castañeda started the flagship Oscar’s. Castañeda will operate both restaurants. Oscar’s Winner’s Circle will offer burgers with “new, creative flavor combinations.” There will be 40 draft beers on tap, a fully stocked bar, healthy and kid-friendly meal options, and brunch served on weekends.

Oscar’s Winner’s Circle will open at 11 a.m. every day. For more information, call the restaurant at 414-810-1820.
