Hey! Today is the Grand Opening for Stone Creek Coffee Cafe+Kitchen on Downer Avenue! Fun! The new location, 2650 N. Downer Ave., is notable for several reasons: it’s Stone Creek’s first foray into hot breakfasts, with egg sandwiches, Belgian waffles, yogurt bowls, and more. It’s also the first sign of life in an East Side building that’s been empty since 2009 (it used to be an Associated Bank). Also, the walk-up window and spacious outdoor patio are pretty sweet.
