In June, we reported that At Random was for sale. With the fate of the longtime Bay View cocktail institution in question, Milwaukee breathed a collective sigh of relief when John Dye of Bryant’s and The Jazz Estate stepped in to take over the property in July. Since then, Dye has been renovating the space, tweaking recipes, and breaking in a new staff as he prepares to reopen the beloved lounge.

With everything seemingly in place and some recent soft opening events in the books, all that’s left is for At Random to set an opening date. According to a bartender who will be working at the space, At Random will officially open for business tonight. If you want to get a glimpse at the new and improved At Random, it looks like you won’t have to wait any longer, Milwaukee.

Stay tuned for pictures or a First Impression in the near future. Or, better yet, just go check it out for yourself!

Update: We should’ve mentioned this for the benefit of people who weren’t aware of At Random’s famously inconsistent hours. Though the the bar is now officially open for business under new ownership, its hours and days of operation will remain, well, random. So keep a lookout for that Open sign.
