The UWM Union Cinema has been a hidden-not-really-hidden gem of Milwaukee’s East Side since 1972. Located inside the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Student Union, the unassuming theater has long served as a terrific resource for students and non-students alike, offering impeccably programmed lineups of independent films, Hollywood blockbusters, and fests like the Milwaukee LGBT Film/Video Festival. And if the Cinema’s recently released fall 2017 lineup is any indication, that tradition is set to continue.

Along with a host of new hits like Wonder Woman and Get Out (and, um, Baywatch), the Union Cinema will host a David Lynch retrospective featuring multiple screenings of 2001’s Mulholland Drive and the new documentary David Lynch: The Art Life. There’s also a Lina Wertmüller retrospective, that adorable Kedi documentary, and, oh yeah, Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion in glorious 35mm.

Films are free for UWM students, and $5 for the general public. Check out the full lineup below.
