If you’ve looked at any local music or entertainment resource based in or around Milwaukee this week, you’ve almost certainly seen something about Arte Para Todos. The first-year festival is impossible not to love, as 70 predominately great acts will perform at 15 venues in three neighborhoods from February 27 to March 1 with ALL proceeds (from the criminally-low cover charge) going to benefit a trio of Milwaukee school art programs. No matter how it goes, it’s already a success in our book. But, on top of your attendance, there’s something else you can do to make sure the inaugural Arte Para Todos goes swimmingly.
Arte Para Todos is seeking submission for the Arte Para Todos Film Festival at Hotel Foster on Sunday, March 1. The organization wants your music videos (old or new), shorts, or mini docs that are relevant to Milwaukee music. Submissions must have a sub-15-minute run time. Accepted formats for submissions include full-res downloadable Vimeo links, Dropbox, Hightail and VHS. They can be sent to Wes Tank at [email protected] or mailed to PO Box 511096 Milwaukee, WI 53202.
