On April 19, comedians Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds will perform a special live version of their wildly popular American history podcast, The Dollop, at Turner Hall. As exciting as it’ll be to bear witness to a Dollop, the hosts are treating Milwaukee to even more laughs after the show. On April 20, which is their day off between the Turner Hall stop and an April 21 Dollop in Chicago, Reynolds—who grew up in Brown Deer—and Anthony are going to stay in town to perform stand-up at Puddler’s Hall.

The 80-capacity Bay View corner tap has its fair share of history. Opened in 1873, Puddler’s holds the lofty distinction of being Milwaukee’s longest running bar. Though comedian Nate Craig headlined an ACLU benefit show at the bar last month, Puddler’s rarely hosts comedy. Between the caliber of comedians and the unique venue, this intimate post-Dollop affair isn’t to be missed. The show starts at 9 p.m. and admission is $10 at the door.

To be clear, the Puddler’s Hall show will not be a Dollop. However, Anthony and Reynolds will probably still sign your car if you ask them to.
