Milwaukee Art Museum’s Lakefront Festival Of Art has always been one of the city’s classier summer festivals—no beer runs or zany street performers here! Still, per Milwaukee summer festival regulations, there will be plenty of beer, wine, and food to go along with works from over 170 regional artists, and a formidable lineup of great Wisconsin-sired music. Recent years featured aural accompaniment from such lauded locals as Whips, Group Of The Altos, GGOOLLDD, and Dead Horses.

This time around, MAM assembled a vast and varied group of performers to take its stage between Friday, June 17 and Sunday, June 19. Ranging from the entrancing Arabian-influenced sounds of Painted Caves, the undeniably fun glam rock spectacle of Tigernite, Grasping At Straws’ brew city brand of bluegrass, New Age Narcissism’s raw and energetic hip-hop construct melding with Lex Allen’s golden pipes, and Andi & Alex of NBC’s The Voice notoriety, this year’s LFOA lineup lands and all over the stylistic board. Here’s the full Lakefront Festival Of Art music schedule.
